I know some owners complained about flame out. But if you follow the manual : start the grill with lid open , vacuum it every cook and you’ll have no issues
Post pics of the first cook Mike!

Closest Lowes is 80 miles, delivery is $59. For once in my life I will resist an impulse buy. I have a pellet pooper already, but that direct sear...

On mine the "P" setting is the amount of smoke or smolder. And as I type that I realize that the lower smoke settings (less smoldering) produces a hotter fire pot as per your needs.... carry on.

IMG_1528.jpg IMG_1527.jpg IMG_1534.jpg IMG_1536.jpg Got a request from the MIL for holiday ribs for her get together this evening. I don't have to go:woot:, just have to do the ribs and watch football, wife is going to deliver them. This might take all day:yes:. Bringing the ribs up to room temp. Bringing the smoker up to temp. Tempted to try a pooperer as this rig is long in the tooth. Cranberry BBQ sauce/glaze from scratch. Ribs sat overnight in the fridge with pork rub. Also got to put the garden to bed with a layer of maneur and mulch/garden soil to sit for the winter.

Full trd pro suspension. Toytec progressive add-a-leaf pack (with overload in). Sema trd 4runner rims. 285 70 17 ridge grapplers. Satoshi grill.
I agree, very important to vacuum the pot out and the bottom of barrel to remove any Ash or un-burned pellets. Only flame out I have had on my 1100 pro was my fault, let hopper run empty

Nothing fancy, just a pile of walkers, half lemon pepper, half house seasoning.
