If the brisket is done, the steak is overdone.

First thing is read the manual. I follow that book to the T and not one single issue with my pit boss.
It will tell you how to season it, how to shut it down properly and how to turn it on properly.
Oil- bacon grease if you have some. I used avocado oil because that's all I had at the time.

First cook, pork butt is always the easiest in my opinion. Hard to mess that up.
    Enjoy!

@Cold Iron is the pitboss 465 master. Im sure he'll have good advices

I'm old school square. Hipsters have clean tight skinny jeans well kept facial hair and fake flannel shirts

If you order from Pit Boss you have to pay ~$15 shipping. Can get it from Amazon at the same price with free shipping so it is kind of a wash if you don't use the coupon.

My thoughts exactly and will use the IR gun next time I do a steak. When I first started looking at sealants and tapes the temperature ranges for most all of them was a low of -20F. But it gets in the 30's below here in the winter. 100% of the stuff made is for where more then 90% of the people live :frusty:

Ha no master by any means! On my third bag of pellets and still learning

Fake flannel shirts?! Almost looked it up but afraid to it just sounds wrong. There is Woolrich and Pendleton for both wool and flannel. LL Bean. And I have 2 brand new Duluth flannel shirts in the washer right now I haven't worn yet. But no fake flannel shirts that I know of.

When I first became single about 10 years ago one of the first ladies I started to date told me that plaid was not a color and shouldn't worn as clothing. Technically the shirt I was wearing would be called a Tartan, not plaid. I made it our last date

Wife is making southwestern egg rolls so gotta grill the chicken first of course. Apparently we thawed wings instead of breasts but they will work just fine I suppose.

Just grabbed a basic Southwestern seasoning recipe from the web and tossed em on.
