Put a grate under the main cooking grate. You can fit 2-3 more under there. Or, add some cooling racks above the main grate.

I could do the under the rack though. Above is out of the question because there's a metal dryer tube up there. That mod lyfe and all that.

I have the same thing, one rack, about 8” wide will fit with the tube in there.

Roll them. I used to get three racks on my 14.5 wsm. Two on the main rack and one on the bottom rack.

Have to rotate them top to bottom because they cook at different rates.

Now I just use two bbqs!

I tried that once, they just didn’t seem to turn out the same for me.

I typically use chicken wings for trying recipes. They're small, cheap, and you can try a lot of recipes without a risk of one being bad on an entire rack of ribs. I've done 4 rib sections to try stuff though too. But now that I know my tastes and preferences more it's not that hard to know a recipe will be a flop by reading it.

I have a normal barrel grill, I could push 3 but I usually only do 2 and then the top rack is for sausages.

Just make sure you get one that's able to handle the heat. Some have a coating on them. I've seen some rubberized I think, painted.

Many years ago (more than I want to admit to) I was in the engineroom of a ship standing on top of a shit can flipped over double wrenching a bolt on a steam flange above me and the box end of the wrench broke. When it broke it came straight down and hit me between the eyes knocking me out. Still have the scar LOL. When I woke up a corpsman and Chief Engineer were standing over me and CHENG asked me what happened and I told him. I still remember him staring at me and saying son don't ever forget your tools are made by the cheapest bidder.

I have a large All Clad stockpot that barely fits on the stove for exactly that reason. But lately have found myself using the Instant Pot and doing it in a couple of hours :anonymous: But when I have time still prefer the stockpot.

I didn't know there were prizes o_O this changes everything!

Nah, it doesn't. If I get out of work early enough I'm going to try mine tonight. Otherwise I'll be doing it tomorrow.

Edit: I'M MAKING YANKEE RIBS. (Smoke 2 hours, instant pot w/ cider for 30 minutes, about 30 minutes on the grill w/ bbq sauce. Yankee since I'm up north and the blasphemy of an instant pot middle bit there.)
