Like an hour and a half in the cooler and 1 min per side on a hot grill :). My brother and sister in law hooked it up for Christmas lol

Go easy on the smoke. If you are ambitious, do lollipops. They are a ton of prep work but look neat if you are feeding people.

I'd never heard of it until that girl said they do them like that in Wisconsin... Maybe only her family does that.

And yes for doing brats in beer.

You all can look for a little extra in your next paycheck! It won't be there but can look and deserve it. Ended up using a full bottle of Montreal steak seasoning with a little chipolte powder in it. Mixed with water to make a paste and covered it well. Cooked at 350, windy wanted to get down to 250 but with the wind and vents closed that wasn't going to happen. Pulled off at 115 and seared. The wind fanned the flames pretty quickly and got the outside darker than I wanted but was all good in the end. Used some of the juice I made from boiling the bones for 9 hours to dip it. Perfect! Wanted something different than the salt pepper etc. that I normally do, this was great.

Boiling brats does render quite a bit of the fat. I boil them in the darkest, chewyest beer I can find, with some diced onion. Finish on the grill:hungry:

Maybe some beer boiled ribs, hmmm...

Smoking some bacon and sausage for breakfast this morning. Just some brown sugar and maple syrup, and a little cracked black pepper.

So I've been out of the smoking and grilling scene for a little bit due to a move.

Sold my old masterbuilt smoker before the move and a local guy here is selling a traegar junior pellet smoker for $100 and in pretty good shape.

    Anybody use this model?
