    Dale's is salty as hell. It's a good way to ruin meat if you leave it in for too long. I used to use Moore's instead. It has a similar flavor but isn't as salty. Both are really good if you are making jerky. My dad used to make some amazing beef and deer jerky with those 2 marinades.

    If you are putting Dale's on burgers, just put a little on right when you cook them.

    There used to be a Dale's steak house in Florence Alabama. I never went there but just pictured that everything tasted like Dale's.

    Still lots of snow on the ground but the snow on top melted off...lol Im glad Im not in Alaska where the winters last longer than 7months...

    This...x2 Dales is good if not over done. A spoonful on a burger patty is plenty. I also use a good bit when doing jerky. It has a great taste after drying.

    Dales used to have awesome steak (spendy). Strangely enough it really didn't have a strong "Dales" marinade flavor, just good wood grilled beef.

    I was a poor college kid when I lived in Florence. There used to be a place to get a good sandwich on the south end of pine Street.

    I have not been impressed with the quality of meat at Sam's club. It's cheap for a reason. I usually go to Publix or the local butcher shop in town.

    I hear yah. I'll pick through what they have looking for the best of it. The ribs are generally good, as well as the butts. Beef has been just ok so far. The pork loin and tenderloin have always been good for me.

    My normal grocery stores are expensive and the quality is the same as SAMs, so why not save a few bucks.

    There is a Reatraunt depot in the area, just need to find someone with a membership, or get one somehow. A Costco just opened a few weeks ago, and I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

    I've had a few too many spoiled packages of chicken from Sam's to trust any of their meat anymore. Prices at GFS are comparable to Sam's. There's also a foodland Grocery store here that regularly runs truckload meat sales.

    We don't buy a lot of chicken, except for frozen nuggets. I've never had a problem with spoiled meat.

    Would love to find a place that I can get better quality though, to taste the difference.

    I just smoked 2 pork shoulders in my Weber smoker last night. 14 hours. It's a bitch to smoke when it's 5 degrees out, lol

    I don't eat a ton of beef, but I can taste the difference between grass fed and corn fed.
