They are out of stock here with the copper ones and figured that even if they did price match it would be only for the copper ones. Target usually blows them out at the end of the year for $99 also. But they go fast and I never catch them in time. Guess I should start checking on line, hell the way they stock seasonal inventory now days probably already have parkas and winter gloves in stock.

Target is bad now about pulling the inventory to the back. I tried to get one of the akorn kamados last year. They had it in stock but the guy at the store said they had been taken to the back to be destroyed... Code for being purchased by employees.

About to go high-society and smoke a 2.7# filet mignon then reverse sear. Put on a coat of some Stubb's marinade I had in the fridge.

Supposedly 8-9 hours. It's been in for about 2.5 hours, and sitting around 128. Supposed to take it to 190, rest, then dice for burnt ends. I'm going to take it there, rest, then fridge it. Dice tomorrow, and back on the smoker with sauce for a few.

I need to just buy one! Been throwing it around long enough. May swing by Wally World and see if I get that lucky $110 deal.

Yup. Haven't made a bad one yet.

These roast stalked at 130!!! Having trouble keeping the heat up as well, which could be why they stalled. Maybe the humidity is causing it.
