Oh man. Tell me about it. This past weekend I was too busy. Luckily this coming weekend will be all about what I want to do; smoke some food and install a roof rack.

I wanted ribs, but I forgot about the loin that has been sitting vacuum sealed for months. It's a 10lb one we got for .99.

Easter meal of Swineapple and Pork Tenderloin is in the books. Big hit on both accounts and pretty freakin' tasty!

About how long was the cook? I imagine pulling it at 127 it is fairly quick and can be done after work.

SoCal is an overpopulated melting pot of all cultures. There is a big enough customer base for any cut of meat over here.

Neat idea but at $225 I'll stick with my $80 Lodge and $34 Charbroil rotisseri.

Actually I might head over to a sheet metal contractor friend of mine that can roll me a ring in 304 stainless. Then have my fab shop weld on a bracket t mount the rotisseri motor. Hmmm.......

    Finallystopped being lazy and cooked!!

Wood fired steak action. First time doing this type of cook, if anything I would have pulled it off the fire maybe 20-30 sec earlier. Otherwise it was really good though!

Leftover smoked chicken + tortillas + cheese = smoked chicken flautas

The cheese is really just to glue the tortilla shut. I made a quick BBQ sauce for them. I've done this a couple times now with pork and chicken. Fry them in oil @ 350F until browned. The tortillas are easier to roll up like this if you microwave them under a damp paper towel for 30 seconds.
