Yes sir! I had pretty good luck with Keto, and I respect that carbs are "bad" (can be bad, can be good, depends on your activity/lifestyle, etc). Fruits are just pretty dense in sugars, typically, things you know already.

I made a couple of those keto calzones using basically just cheese and eggs as dough. Unfortunately every time I tried, it was good, but held no structure, however my wife was a keto dough ninja and had the magic hands. So I annoyed her by asking her to do it for me

I never tried the chicken doughs. Might give it a whirl.

Ya im using carno approved fruits that benefit the diet if you dont eat too many. Usually eat once per day anyway even before the diet so im good with that. Tho i will say its now hit my body feeling the diet change. Mainly being dehydrated due to the massive decrease of sodium intake. Trying to drink more electrolyte infused water and might get some supplements. Being dehydrated is one of the major cons of the diet. Have lost 4 pounds already in less than a week

    Edit: Also saving that recipe

I posted this in the bread thread - they've been talking about making tortillas.

Made tortillas, leftover rotisserie chicken in chipotle sauce (I dumped a can of chipotle peppers into a blender with some chicken stock and cooked it for a while, nothing spectacular), yellow rice, fried corn, and made it all into tacos.

Garlic Chicken Ginger Lime soup with chicken cilantro wontons and a rustic loaf. Salty sweet comfort food. A favorite during the transition to fall or during cold and flu season.

Grrrr. I’m in need of a cleaner , more well behaved diet.

last night I had a huge stack of steamed bok choy, with a hunk of grilled cod. Class of water. Surprisingly delicious, but no way was it worth a photo.
    BOOO!

I’m not talking about today’s lunch :(. Hahaha.

    Regret in a glass.

Green juice smoothie (bottled, not homemade). Put it in a mason jar to bring it to work on the bike, but then got to work and realized I left my big mug at home so...drinking it out of the mason jar like some sort of vegan moonshine.

    LMAO, The most accurate description.
I had lunch from the food bar area from a Whole Foods. $18 later and I felt like my container was the raw ingredients of Kumbucha. The only thing redeemable in the entire container was the olive mix. I’d have been happy with steamed bok choy and grilled cod… sign me up!

Speaking of healthy options - this is my go to mash/whip potatoes. Stand mixer whisk. Boil potatoes, keep the water. Whisk them on high, add the reserved water back in a bit at a time until smooth and whipped-like. Salt added too. NO milk, butter, fat, etc. Basically a whipped baked potato. I really do not miss the fat/milk when I do them this way.

Reheating leftovers - if you have enough potato water, keep it in a mason jar (again like some sort of potato moonshine hobbit hoarded) in the fridge, throw some in the pot with potatoes, heat on low. Or just add some tap water, works fine too.

I didn't peel these last night because I didn't want to. Sometimes/usually I peel them, but this isn't too bad, actually.

WTF is it with you and the Mason jars, Rob? Between that green slime and now potato water you're like a sommelier of weird liquids. "May I offer you a mason jar of our finest dishwater?"

 we have a ton of them, my nalgene wasn't clean for lunch yesterday, they go in the dishwasher and we just reuse the lids. They're the best storage, I hate plastic! I don't even "seal" them, just twist the lid on and done.

It was just two in a row of funny uses :p
