Tempeh company is local, going to use black-eye pea tempeh. Have the rice wraps.

 

Nice! I found a pack recently someone had put in the magazine rack at checkout. I was confused if they were refrigerated or stable (they’re shelf stable) and gave to cashier. Fortunately there are plenty of places I can get fresh made offerings.

I’m on a huge Chili Crisps kick lately. But I’m making my own. I brought a jar for a coworker. He’s putting it on everything.

and No. hoisin is not Chinese Ketchup. You can’t draw parallels between the two. We aren’t dipping fried foods into it, for example. Chili crisps s closer, by a smidge.

Attempting a beef wellington tonight. First issue was not being able to find a tenderloin so got something roughly the same, a 2 pound flat iron. Not as thick so will have to be careful when searing and when it goes in the oven. Also should've started sooner as ive only just now finished chopping up the mushrooms and shallots.
