Baby backs and sauted squash for dinner tonight. I would have taken a pic of my plate but it was a little embarrassing how many ribs were on it! LOL

Upload pics when you get it! Japanese knives are great. I have a tiny deba knife for small jobs and because sometimes at work my station has the tiniest cutting board. Works great for tight applications

Years back I was doing a bunch of work in Cali, the hotel we stayed at had these Garlic Park fries, to add even more garlic to it they would top it with thin slices of shaved garlic. OMG were those things freaking good. Had dragon breath the next day but so worth it. Was in and out of that hotel for the better part of 2 months until me and the guy who was working with me moved to a residence inn (we where able to cook there and were tired of eating out). I miss those fries after seeing yours. :)

I bought a Deba nearly 20 years ago. They do take some getting used to and I'm often just as happy to use my flex blade fillet knife.

I have a Tako for slicing sashimi that is also single bevel. Japanese knife master that has worked on my knives a couple of time said that when you hone the knife, 10 times on the bevel, once on the non bevel.

I even baked a fresh loaf! Essentially my kitchens “Full Send!” IMG_3083.jpg
