I'd probably eat a left shoe if it was coated in garlic chilis scallions and peanuts.

 

Pictures not the best but i went off on the frittata method again. Made a frittata spinoff of loco moco.

I would tell ya about the ones I made from scratch but I had to make tortillas first and then cut them. Unfortunately, some internet jack ass is likely to go on about how they aren't authentic or some shit and nobody has time for that.

 

Recently got back from a trip to my Tacoma's homeland in Japan. The food was really good, especially if you are into seafood and fried pork cutlets and vegetables. There were definitely a few new-to-me things, like fish sperm sacs (). Best bite I had was in Kyoto, pictured below. I did not go to Toyota, Japan but I did zoom by on the bullet train, which was also a wild experience in and of itself.




McDonalds in Japan has a seasoning for their fries, only available in Japan. It was very tasty.

Living in Belize, I was getting ready sit down to watch Sunday afternoon football and mentioned I wish i had some chips to snack on. GF went out to the local tortilla factory, bought some masa, came home and made tortillas, cut them and fried them to make chips for me. Wow! The grocery store selling chips was just around the corner, but oh well.

 

Thats called living a good life.

Grocery store ones wouldn't have been all nice and warm.

 

Something to throw on the table for Easter. Melt some chocolate, mix in pretzel sticks, use a bowl as a mold... edible bird's nest

The kid's favorite dinner is carbonara, we use bacon, garlic, dried olives and anchovies, and we had some for dinner yesterday.

Today I told him I hadn't planned anything special for Easter dinner.

He asks, can we have carbonara again but extra bacon will make it special.

Easter lunch was grilled lamb rack with butter potatoes, honey carrots and a side salad.
