    You boil sugar, water and light corn syrup to the hard crack stage then drizzle that into a lightly greased stainless steel bowl.

    Just throwing this out there for anyone that has experience with this?

    I am thinking about getting a fryer to fry my own chicken, french fries and whatever else goes in them. I'm not looking for anything really expensive and its going to be for personal use only for the main part. It would just be used for occasional dinners or get togethers. Any input would be much appreciated!!:)

    ^^^Go to your local outdoor supply store Bass Pro Shops, Cabela's....etc I say those stores because of the cost and get whatever size cast iron skillet you would need to fry your chicken.... they work awesome for frying.......just my .02

    If you google Tyler Florence's fried chicken recipe from one of his shows. The lady throws onions into the skillet while she fried the chicken, looked sick.... I would try to find it for you but I am going to bed now......... hungry thanks:D

    I've also thought about a big cast iron skillet but I was thinking more along the lines of an electric fryer with a basket and everything.:rolleyes:

    Been in the middle of getting a laptop for a while and have stored up some photos. Time to share.

    Peppadew peppers stuffed with goat cheese. Reduced the balsalmic myself. Stole the recipe from Macaroni Grille. Super-rich, maybe 2 per person is plenty as an app.

    Homemade (from scratch) cinnamon rolls. Literally 2.5 sticks of butter in the recipe. That's for 12 rolls. Can't make these very often! Pretty involved between the dough, filling and icing, but worth it. I LOVE cinammon rolls.

    Maybe written as pronounced would be more like Ah Ya Oy Yah.....easiest way for my grandmother to teach us italian. That was fine and dandy until I met a girl from the island of Malta and tried to impress her with my Italian.... just got a good laugh out of it.....:eek:

    ^You wont be disappointed, just dont over cook the mixture like we did. And dont worry just soak the pot you cooked it in and the candy dissolves after a while.
