    -about 30 minutes before cheese
    -about 30 minutes after cheese is on

    i also like to turn it to broil for the last couple minutes to give the top layer of cheese a little browning.

    does anybody have a recipe for a Queso Blanco? I'm looking to make some

    The only ones i have found include-

    1 tablespoon unsalted butter
    1 tablespoon flour
    1 cup whole milk
    12 ounces Chihuahua or Monterey Jack cheese, coarsely grated
    ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
    Salt and freshly grated pepper
    add green chili peppers if wanted

    I forgot all about Vons, since I left CA in 1995. But super easy recipe add what ever you want to bbq sauce. I have made bbq for this recipe also. Bake for 2 hours with foil uncover and let cook for 30 minutes. I usually add brown sugar, maple syrup, bbq seasoning, and honey.

    ive been smoking using a woodchip box and a propane grill:eek:.....but recently just bought a 'real' smoker... charbroil offset smoker.... gonna modify it to add gas burners as well...:p i will definitely post pics.

    Yeah I have done the woodchip box before, I need to get a smoker. I have been doing lots of research on which is better electric, gas or wood, any input????

    if u arent goin anywhere, get an electric... set it and forget it!... i do alot of camping and traveling with my smoker, hence why i went the route of a wood (soon gas when need be)...

    my plan is to have a gas source..trying to have a set it and forget it type smoker.....iono man, i think all works good..:)
