    maybe try a Pinot Noir or a merlot, both are very good and tend to have a little bit of a sweet fruit tone to them. generally a colder climate wine will be sweeter, Germany is generally known to have sweeter wines. There is a very good inexensivew chilean wine that I love really good flavour and not overly dry, I just can't seem to remember the name of it right now. Also Maybe try a blended wine.

    hamburg ( would prefer game meat but not hunting season/ on a budget) garlic, onions, celery, carrots, green pepper, can of tomatos, tomato paste, beef stock, cayenne, chili powder, cumin, chipotle oil, and habenero oil. I know a guy who puts hotdogs and mushrooms in his and its amazing.

    how does yours compare ingrediant wise?

    Sounds very good, I tend to keep things simple, I do love the idea of sausage in there, I used to make a sausage and turkey chili. The BBQ sauce sounds diferent but in a very good way, definatly will have to try adding that sometime. Potatoes seems a good way to get more yeild for a low cost.

    it is very very delicious!

    i brown the beef with the worsceshire sauce and the bbq sauce. i dont add much of either sauce in the slow cooker.

    yields more and makes it hearty!!! YUM!

    I always add something sweet into my chili. Sweet chili sauce, sugar, brown sugar or chocolate. Adds a nice balance of flavor and cuts some of the acid and heat.
