    Pete, I do feel better I went to work today. I just ate some parogies with onions and broccoli with cheese. I am even going for some of the asian beef over rice that we had the other night. None the less I think that I am better. I only had a bagel and a cheese danish while I was at work though. Everything looks good from the spaghetti o's to the spaghetti squash....

    Got some beer for Sunday. I did alot of the shopping tonight. I mainly have the meat and some other foods to go. I am going to marinate 9 lb of brisket in red wine starting tomorrow morning.

    Wow. Everything looks so good!!

    I realized I never take pics because the photos look so gross and dark-- I cook later at night and have a camera phone. tonight after work I did marinated tri-tip in the oven (sacrilege I know, but I was busy cleaning my apartment and it was easier than grilling) and some mashed butternut squash. I tried to do a fancy salad for the side, spring greens with raspberries, some sliced almonds, and a fig vinaigrette too. The dressing came out really sweet so I think I'll stick to the mustard-balsamic spicy-tangy one I usually make.

    So now I will be eating tri-tip, squash, & salad for lunch & dinner the next several days!

    The brisket was really good. It was the best smoked brisket I ever had. I will try to get pics up later tonight
