i am,,sorta. since i cant turn on the oven for the fear of boosting my home's inside temps, i'm taking it outside.

i am slow braising some spareribs, baby racks, and some beef ribs. i have a weber kettle at the ready, with ALOT of apple branches fresh cut from a friends house. i hope the apple-wood adds enough smoke when i use the charcoal to add color to the ribs. flat out experimenting on the extended family. if i blow it, i'll make a papa murph run :(

i reduced all the cooking juices in the braising liquid and dumped it over the ribs...i cant confirm/deny tenderness, but they are looking good. i bent an old cooking grill, so i can nestle the baby backs underneath..they are getting dripped upon by the spareribs upstairs.

(shoulda taken my time smashing the garlic..hunks are huge)

X2 on the old grill bending. The garlic does look a little big but I am sure it tastes good.

def a fan of the large garlic, he was just evaluating it himself. Not me....I would stick with the same size.

I don't think I would call this gourmet but thank you for the props.

Are there specific ingredients in this dish you don't like or do you think it is the combination of flavors that is unappealing? One of my favorite past times is taking ingredients somebody is not fond of and trying to create a dish they enjoy using them.
