That is a regular size dinner plate and enough "salad" for 2 or 3 people.

I'm going with this, deleting the sugar and adding some Gorgonzola crumbles. Yum! I might do almonds or pistachios since I've got those and no walnuts, and I'm still not home yet and need to be back at work with the salad in 9.5 hours. Phew.

Tough, I love carpaccio! Many of my coworkers are vegetarian though, so the shrimp and beef are out. I was vegetarian for a decade but now my favorite meal is rare lamb chops on steamed spinach. Mmm.

Didn't know about the vegetarian thing, sorry. I can get you a recipe for roasted veggies if you like... let me know.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Is it too late for a recipe? I'll post it anyway; I have a really good vinaigrette.

For work? Yep, but I eat a ton of chicken salads so please post away!

I did the baby salad greens with goat cheese, almonds, apples, & raisins. Dressing was olive oil, apple cider vinegar, orange juice, & spices. It was meh, I wish the dressing had more zip to it.

My coworkers made vegan mac 'n fake-cheese, couscous w roasted carrots, roasted butternut squash, curried brussels sprouts and... gelato. 4 interesting kinds of gelato from a place called Fiorelli's: pumpkin, caramel balsamic (this was actually my favorite somehow!), wild honey which I didn't try, and champagne-peach which I also didn't try. Never seen any flavor like caramel balsamic before, but it was unexpectedly awesome.

yeah we did it our self.(guess it’s good to own your own fryer, you can put anything you want in it) and i did not think to time it. my guess is around 5 to 8 min not sure. i know that we could have put it in for less time, so it may have been in closer to 8 or 10 min.

I really want to make something good for different tonight for dinner. I am not sure if I should go with something out of the ordinary like a tomato sauce braised octopus (assuming I can find a whole octopus right now), or something like a nice steak and potatoe kind of dinner with maybe something a little different on the grill. Maybe I can find something like ostrich meat or something to grill up. Maybe a nice lamb steak with a mint sauce. I dont know, any ideas and keep in mind I can only do this today for dinner.
