    Mmmm...sushi, speaking of which, I havent had sushi in like a year!!:eek:

    Yeah usually sticky white rice is easy enough to eat with chop sticks but with the fried rice, I normally cant grab enough with chop sticks.

    also, i forgot how i found out, but if you hold your chopstick close to the bottom its almost like a disrespect or being rude... holding the chopstick at the top end (as much as you can) shows class/elegance...?? iono how true that is though.. hah

    Oh really? I didnt know this? Kinda makes sense I guess. I remember I stuck my 2 chop sticks standing straight up once in the bowl of rice at my Japanese friends house and he said that is disrespectful.

    LOL, i did a quick google and came across wikipedia:

    Chopsticks should not be left standing vertically in a bowl of rice or other food. Any pair of stick-like objects pointed upward resembles the incense sticks that some Asians use as offerings to deceased family members; certain funerary rites designate offerings of food to the dead using standing chopsticks.

    hahahaha.. definitely not my best set of sticks... but i do have a few others that are presentable... one of them is dark because i use it over and over to stir things when deep frying lol...and im using a plate!!! haha kuz im not eating rice
