For that sammich, yes, BUT its only Tuesday, so I have three more sammiches to make this week with said experimental cheese. I'll make one all purty and share

 

under these potatoes are sliced up chicken and mushrooms in cream of chicken sauce. the potatoes are seasoned with french onion soup mix.......we'll see how this turns out tmr.

I'm not a good cook by any means, but this was my first attempt at chicken parmesan. Made it for my girlfriend on Valentine's Day.

The potatoes and chicken were delicious! !!!

 

There's this local sausage maker, Caggiano, and I love almost every kind they make. Tonight I had a Sardinian kind with Brussels sprouts (seared in the sausage fat, with some white wine of course and later topped with some smoked goat cheese I had leftover)

If you are in the SF Bay Area, they sell these fresh sausages at Andronico's deli counters now, and also the butcher counter at both Berkeley Bowls. There is a tequila-habenero one that is really good on the BBQ! They're all about $6-8/pound depending on type.

Here's the usual terribly unappetizing photo, because I apparently only eat in the dark (?!).


Tomorrow I'm making about a million "egg muffins" in different varieties, they're actually sort of like mini frittatas made in muffin tins, I'm going to do a buffalo chicken kind and an apple-cinnamon one made with some coconut flour. My friend is making a veggie & turkey version and we'll split them among us for breakfasts so we don't get tempted to eat pastries instead.

For dinner while this crazy muffin fiasco is happening- making "banh mi sliders," I mix ground turkey w chopped red onion, Thai basil, & jalapeno plus lime zest, make little sliders & cook. Top with sriracha, Thai basil, and with cucumbers & carrots marinated in lime juice with a little fish sauce. Wrap in lettuce leaves. Tah dah! That dinner combines almost all my favorite flavors.

 

So the ingredients i used:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
6-7 medium red potatoes
Mushrooms
1 can cream of chicken
1/2 can of water
1 packet of french onion soup mix

In a casserole type pan, spread out the cut-up chicken. spread out the sliced mushrooms on top of chicken. spread out the cream of chicken. Spread out the sliced potatoes. season potatoes with french onion soup.

Bake at 400 degrees for 1hr 15min. Then broil for about 5-10 minutes or until desired crisp of potatoes.

Next time im adding some cut green beans and some pepper

Damn 4x4! Impressive. I went there the other night... sorta glad there isn't one near my home or work!!

My fave is the mustard-fried w/grilled onions protein-style cheeseburger.

 

before they stared the "4x4 is the biggest burger we make" rule i would order 6x6's lol. A bunch of my family works for in n out and i get to go to their company picnic every year. let me see if i can find some pics from that lol.

 

here we go. in n out chili cheese dog and double double animal style. That exclusive stuff! lol also powerade in the cup that is only available in the cook out trucks lol

 

^ wut. Never seen an In n Out chili dog and a 6x6 sounds sort of like the grim reaper watches closely while you eat it. Hahaha

I heard a rumor there's a secret chicken option? I'm not from the West Coast originally, fill me in! I only found out about the cooked mustard option within the last couple months.

 

lol chili dogs are only available at the company picnic. and there is not and never will be a chicken option lol. if you ask for chicken they will most likely politely say they dont serve chicken and then laugh at you when you leave. haha

a bunch of other stuff but i have to remember those lol
