Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I'm stuck on hospital food for a few days... The wife is having our kid. This shit sucks when the only things you can have are salads and fruits since they add butter or cheese to everything

Do you guys have any suggestions for cookware sets? I'm looking to replace my current set of T-Fal as the teflon coating is starting to wear and flake off  And a couple of pieces the bottoms are warped :notsure: I always thought T-Fal was a good brand but after seeing how my pots and pans have deteriorated I'm not impressed. I've always taken good care of them (no metal utensils, never put in the dishwasher) and they look like crap!

I'd like to keep it under $200
Don't really care for the non stick finish, I want something I can throw in the dishwasher damnit!

Check your local closeout stores for some All Clad - http://www.all-clad.com/

It is not "Cheap" but you can find great deals on the pieces you need and slowly build your set. Bomb proof stuff. High end bomb proof!

You can always find some of them on ebay used too. You really can not mess these things up.

Find a restaurant supply store, they have restaurant quality frying pans. You would be surprised how good they work. I like the fact that almost all of them are stove top to oven. That way you can start to cook on the stove top then finish them off in the oven. I dont use metal utensil either but I dont have any coating on any of my pots or pans. The better quality stuff will be non stick without a coating.

I know, but they are awesome. Replace 1 piece at a time. Use one, if you do not like it after a week, clean it and return it to the store.
Get away from anything with a non stick. As you know it is a COATING, no coating is forever. Hence why MTGirl is trying to replace hers.

These will last forever. being it is steel, or a metal, all you need to do is have them at the right temp, and NOT scrub them when you clean them. The small scratches are what make things stick to the pans. ALL pans.

Use that Bar Keepers - I forget the name.

The restaurant quality stuff is normally aluminum, was at the places I worked.

By going to places like Marshals, Ross, and similar - you need to pick through the pots and pans. The "seconds" are there for sure and carry the same warranty as the "firsts". I got one of the $650 pans for $75 on a close out. HUGE pan I use to cook with daily.

These are the pans your kids will want and remember when they are older.

    I use the Copper Core

All clad is expensive but it is worth it imo. I've had my set for a little over a year and they are great!

Bar Keepers Friend is right up there with duct tape in our house, it's ALWAYS around.

The wife and I have had the discussion. If Andrew 2.0 comes through and wipes the house off the foundation, the FIRST $1000 out of the checkbook at the new place is two new Shun knives, the five piece All Clad set, and a cast iron skillet & dutch oven.

With these items you can wing pretty much everything.

Camp your local Williams-Sonoma, Crate n Barrel, etc.

Watch for the end of a sale, and you can often get deals. We got a 10 piece All-Clad set (pasta pot & lid, med sauce pan & lid, sm sauce pan & lid, skillet & lid, large skillet & lid) for 399.99 (clearance) and picked up a 12" saucier for 149.99 (clearance) at the same time. We just kept an eye on sale dates and when they would return unsold shit to the central warehouses....you go in on that day and see the manager, they HATE lossing stuff back and will often get rid of it at barely over cost to get at least SOMEthing rather than lossing it back unsold.

*probably not the technically correct terms, but you get the idea
