You can still eat well if you plan ahead. Knowing you are going to eat something bad for dinner, make sure lunch and breakfast are healthy, then just portion your dinner. I used a calorie counter app the end of last year, lost 30 pounds in just under 4 months. I do run/play soccer also, but I did those things before and didn't lose anything. Then cut out little things that count, for instance, cheese on a burger is great, but a burger is great by itself too, save yourself few grams of fat and a hundred calories.

I dont know if you read my previous posts but I'm not on a diet just cause but I got 3 teeth pulled last week and I can only east soft foods so I've been mostly eating soups and things like that. I gained a little weight over the past couple of years but I think thats cause I am getting a little older and my metabolism is slowing down a bit but I havent gained a ton of weight, maybe like 15-20 pounds total which isnt a bad thing cause I was to skinny before anyways.

Nope, missed it. I was wondering what type of soft food diet it was, thought it may be some nee type of diet, blending all your food or something:laugh:

My "healthy" lunch today. Well, healthy all but the croutons and cheese..............and the creamy ceasar dressing.............and the grape soda to wash it down. :D

mmm...croutons  oh how I miss croutons...
Looks very yummy! If you like Caesar dressing but want a lighter, healthier option try the Bolthouse Farms brand. Its made with yogurt and is about 1/2 the calories of regular Caesar dressing.

Can't help with the grape soda though

I do miss some parts of not eating that stuff, and croutons is one of them

Yup. Croutons, french toast, PB & J sammiches are high on my list of foods I miss and haven't found a good GF substitute for. :(
I used to eat salads all of the time and then sort of didn't eat them a lot for a good year because it just wasn't the same without croutons! But I've found that if I add in something crunchy I can deal with a crouton-less salad. Almonds or walnuts, radishes, carrot slices...

Green peppers and red peppers for me. I'm going to start figuring out my own breads soon, but I won't be using rice or potato flour
