    Portion control is *the* hardest part of any dieting in the modern world.

    We went through so much as a species during our evolution that when presented with a bounty (being such a rarity) that we're fairly hard-wired to grab what we can while we can.

    Its only relatively recently that we've gotten to a point where the IDEA of limiting our food intake is even a thing.

    I know I can't do it for shit.

    Yah mon so here is Saturday's dinner. We made pan fried soft shelled crabs and pan fried pan seared scallops, with bacon and the scallops were fried in bacon grease........ hmm pics to follow

    Here is the 10 lb pork butt. Just seasoned it with some pork seasoning and threw it in the smoker. I ended up smoking it for 8 hours then chopped it up and baked it for 45 minutes at 350.

    It was really good, I ended up smoking it for 8 hours so its got lots of smoky flavor. It is good enough to have without bbq sauce.
