I'm still trying to think of a way to make butter without dairy in it. My brain gives something like a BSOD and I blink a couple times and then see something else to think about.

In completely unrelated news, my blood test is tomorrow morning and my doc OK'd the allergen test, AND the insurance company covers it 100% once a year like yours....so I'm looking forward to getting that!

Find a whole foods market, they usually have lots of specialty foods for allergy people. And join a couple of allergy forums. I'm on a gluten free forum and it was pretty helpful when I first switched. Lots of good folks out there that have been down this road before, might as well learn from them! Lots of recipes, shopping tips, restaurant info, etc out there that will make your new life a lot easier.

    I'm actually kinda pissed.

First, the wife made an interesting impromptu pesto-chicken-fajita soft taco combo thing for dinner on Monday, and she caught me totally off-guard. And I didn't get any pics! She started before I got home!

THEN, I get the call from my doctors office, my blood test paperwork was in, so I make immediate arrangements to have the docs fax the paperwork to my wife at her pharmacy.

Seems the docs use a different set of CPT codes. I got my hands on my bloodwork paperwork didn't have ANY of the test outcomes like here. I got a single IGE number with NOTHING else.

Granted, I'm not out any money cause the insurance covered it. But still....I was DAMN looking forward to getting that.
