    Have any of you guys tried to recruit other members that post food pics in other threads to post them here? I do, there are a couple of members I have talked to and tried to get them to post there food pics in here. I also do the same on the fishing thread to get them to post pics of their fish.

    Watching a show on tv right now, summer's hot cocktails. It made me think about starting a drink thread. So maybe just start here in the foodies bs thread......... post some of your fav drinks...... I dont have any, I dont really drink liquor that much but some of these drinks looked really good.

    I havent really come across any other threads with food pics in them. Looks like everyone had a pretty busy weekend cause I havent seen any new pics in a while. I know I sure had a busy weekend.:eek:

    I had off this weekend just had a big party saturday night and its been too hot to cook. Power went out last night for 2 hours and tonight for 1 hour. Crazy hotttt here.........

    Hainan is a province in South China. It is an island province.

    The Chicken rice is known for having a very fresh ginger, onion and garlic taste. The rice is cooked with the oil of the chicken, along with a pulp of ginger and onion. The Chicken is boiled for 20 minutes with garlic, ginger and onion. Prior to boiling the chicken, you dip it in the boiling water and then in ice cold water three times to tighten the skin.

    When you serve it, you serve the chicken over the fragrant rice and top with a mixture of soy sauce cooked with sugar and ginger.

    I know it doesn't look very impressive, but it was delicious. Chicken, carrots and broccoli over white rice, sautéed and stir fried in a homemade orange sauce. :)

    hainanese chicken was my meal 80% of the time in singapore..i couldnt get enough. i ate at one food stand. funny thing, i saw anthony bordaine there on his show a few years later. same guy, same stand. bastard let the cat out of the bag.

    i've been too busy to cook, and i am trying drop a few pounds before next week's deer hunting trip.

    food looks delish....

    havent been able to keep food in my stomache for the past few days.. nauseated. everytime.. puke, not all food comes out... shiet sucks.
