Dessert has always been my thing at thanksgiving. But these days coming up with a good gluten free recipe is challenge enough.

I know of some recipes to cook a chicken and veggies in a dutch oven...could do it with a turkey breast I'm sure.

So... last night I got home from work around 9pm... sat and watched some tv and around 10 I got up to do some things...

    guess what I found........

My entire stand up deep freezer not freezing! I had to rush to walmart and but some extra trash cans and heavy duty bags.... I had to throw everything out! Even the top to our wedding cake! Not a good thing to find!

Since I work on turkey day. I made myself a mini early dinner. Turkey leg, ranch potatoes, green bean casserole, salad and a coconut cream pie.

 Thanks, same to you and yours. I hope you're in charge of cooking?
Mom's decided she doesn't want to do the turkey for thanksgiving  We're having roast beast instead. Dessert ideas anyone? I'm thinking something cherry or raspberry but not pie or cobbler....

you have time to make another...hand it over! :hungry:

Simply Organic Gravy mix isn't bad...it is the instant, powder stuff but its better than nothing. and i have a gluten free, dairy free bread recipe if you want to make bread to make stuffing for yourself. food allergies are tough to deal with this time of year!

I picked up extra beer on the way home.

I have steaks cut and ready, fresh taters for baking, mushrooms for a pan sauce...

So...yea. Lots of good football on!
