Haha. Its like when you're shucking oysters and find a little crab. Supposed to be good luck and they're tasty as all get out.

So I just found out that Alton Brown (the sort of nerdy guy on the food network) is on tour and is doing a show in my hometown at the end of the month. How can a chef/foodie put on a show in a theater? I love him. I love his TV show and how he explains the science part of cooking. I'm intrigued and I kinda want to go but I have no idea what the show actually consists of! I wonder if its gluten free...
This is the "about" page on his website

^^^ I love Alton Brown's shows too, mainly because of the way he explains the science behind the way he does things. I have tried many of his recommendations and have to agree with his methods.
One thing though, the few times that I have heard him talk about gluten, he had a slightly different definition for it than what I have learned through the doctors and celiac related research. I don't think he would be into gluten free cooking much based on what I have seen in his programs.

:pout: So tempting....I think I would suffer through a gluten induced bout of indigestion if I was selected to be an on stage assistant though. Only 3 days of misery for my 15 minutes of fame

    :notsure:
Blue man group has a poncho zone but that was when they started beating on drums with glow in the dark paints on them

Just made a simple chicken stir fry with broccoli, cauliflower, red peppers, onions, green beans, snap peas, and chicken. After it was all cooked and stir fired I added "no spaghetti" I think it was called. Man that was the star of the show. I really want to use that to make homemade ramen.

If I am wrong on the name just let me know I threw the bag away so I can't remember the name. Or if anyone has any other recipes with it let me know.
