Don't look at the recipe. There is deep frying going on. I was happier ignorant. :)

The bread was not a bollio bun. It was softer.

It had refried beans in it. The play on texture and spice was fantastic.

I think they can be pan fried. I see a few recipes online but they are all over the map as far as ingredients... if I'm gonna make one I want to start out with the authentic. All I need is the ingredients... the deep frying can be a secret :spy:

Pretty much, yes. I like the McCormick Montreal Steak seasoning grinder. I liberally apply it on both sides and that's it.

    Shit, now I want steak.

Shared an appetizer at a high end restaurant last night, was Brussels sprouts halved, pan fried until a bit charred, shallots (I think), parm-reg maybe, and bacon. Ho Lee fuck that was good. Gonna try to recreate the recipe tomorrow. Server said the chef doesn't want to share details of his recipes :jerkoff: Whatever. I'll figure it out and it will be better.

Thanks! It was rather tasty! If I'm being honest, I was a little too liberal with the salt on the steak. Boo! Still good though. Veggies were awesome.

Grilling for tonight's dinner. Spatchcock chicken. Peri-peri spicy.

Also, this is going to be a busy week (again), so I grilled some pork and chicken that we can just reheat.
Sweet and sour pork, Italian chicken and BBQ chicken.

Better you than me! ;) I got some venison ground jerky in the smoker...I used the inferno mix and added some crushed chili's and cayenne...usually comes out good!I think the elk jerky is better though...:)
