Any asafran in that broth? Mi suegra uses it like I use salt.

    Never used it.

Nana never had that in her recipe.

Albondigas are a favorite for me!

    Food prep for the week.
Buffalo chicken drumsticks, garlic parmesan pork chops, bbq pork loin, and honey garlic salmon still on the grill.
Also made some chicken breasts that I will chop to put on salads for lunches.

If you haven't discovered HelloFresh, BlueApron, or any of those companies, you need to!!! Delicious, gourmet meals perfectly portioned and ready in no time! I think one of them offers a wine pairing selection, but either way, it's fantastic! This is what we made the other night from our Hello Fresh shipment.

I admire your ability to prep for the week! We unfortunately can't decide from day to day what the hell is for dinner! :annoyed:

Tri tip twist. (That's what the found truck called it). Tri tip and some kind of onion salsa. On a naan type bread.

    Sliced or cubed sirloin
    1 cup of beef broth
    1/4 cup of soy sauce
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    2 tablespoons siracha or more
    2 table spoons sesame oil
2 table spoons rice wine vinegar
    2 teaspoons onion powder
1 table spoons freshly grated ginger

Mix it in a crock pot set it on low for 5-6 hours depending on meat size. Once it's cooked add in a mixture of 2 tablespoons cornstarch with water and let the sauce thicken.

If you're using more meat just adjust accordingly

I posted this in live but was meant for here. Asian style tuna sandwich. Veggies marinated in soy, wassabe, and a little rice wine vinegar. Topped with some toasted sesame seeds.

Just catching up, was going to ask for recipe, and see that I'm not the only bulgogi fan out there.

Been enjoying some Korean BBQ pork jerky from Costco - insanely good - but I want to try this recipe ASAFP!

Hopefully you like it. I thought it was pretty decent for my first attempt. I garnished it with sesame seeds and green onions served with rice and broccoli.

I'm going to have to head to Costco to find that jerky

Thanks for the recipe! I just put a batch in the crockpot. Going to serve it over some egg noodles for a little asian stroganoff :)
