    Thanks, for this evenings menu, stuffed game hens with roasted veggies and spuds. Never tried this but my girl says it's an easy dish to do in the oven. Only thin I am unsure of, Do i sear the hens a bit before i put them in in the roasting dish in oven or let the oven do all the work? I'll google it....

    I have started game hens in a saute pan then finish in the oven. I have a good pan thats ok to stick in the oven and you can get a good color from the pan. But you can do either way.... Make sure we get pics of that dinner....please

    Game hens with stuffing and all the fixins. Just went into the oven. Plan on basting with butter every 20/30 minutes.:hungry:

    Didn't sear just let the oven do all the work. That's two days in a row for green beans and roasted potatoes, we're gonna grill some chuck eye's and probably corn and asparagus. Love those kinds of meals, all on the grill, outside with a cold adult beverage close by.
