    Mother's Day weekend spread.
    Saturday my wife wanted to sit on the back porch and grill out kabobs while the kids played:

    Sunday, we did Surf and Turf! This is her plate, Dungeness crab, Maryland crab cake, tiger prawns, filet, lobster tail, and all the rest of the boil sides (corn, potatoes, onions, and mushrooms):

    P.S. the Remoulade is store bough (Central Market, so at least I know they make in house) but the cocktail is homemade, just like the tartar sauce, so much better than in a jar. Lot's of horseradish!

    wife made some moose tenderloin w/spices in a mini-croc overnight. The next morning it just fell apart tender, she made an omlette w/jalapenos and topped with the moose tenderloin and sideof hash browns, I wrapped in a warm tortilla and gtg! Mmmm yummy!

    very good! I typically put Tapatio on my eggs and it was great, only thing that could have made it better would have been homemade tortillas;)

    My son competed a grueling JROTC ranking event, so we celebrated and had him pick what he wanted; steak, scallops, shrimp and potatoes. (My wife added salad to the menu)

    Pork Chops w/Bourbon Maple glaze. I had planned on smoking them first (which I've done before) but got lazy. Brined them for about 4 hours. Turned out pretty tasty, although I put the glaze on too early and it carmelized under the chops in the pan...

    Reducing the glaze. Jack D, real maple syrup, red pepper flakes, etc...
