Wife wanted to do chorizo and eggs for supper and i got to lookin at all that chorizo grease and though "kinda sausage, so lets try gravy" made some biscuit dough and cooked it in the waffle iron cuz its faster than preheating the oven and it doesnt heat the whole house. Nothing dissapointed (first time on waffle biscuits and chorizo gravy btw)

I wish I had remembered to take pictures...but last night I did a fish fry with fresh walleye and yellow perch for my girlfriend because she had ever had walleye before. And this morning we made biscuits and gravy. Both were outstanding.

I'm hoping not fish biscuits and gravy. :)

We are doing a good country breakfast this Saturday. Going to do some biscuits, sausage gravy, eggs, sausage, cheese grits. I want some country ham but that stuff is SOOOO expensive around here.

The pork chops I made last night were the best I've ever made. Bone in always makes a big difference.

Rubbed them down with some thyme, sage, white pepper, and salt. Seared each side in hot skillet with butter. Transferred to casserole dish and into the oven until they hit like 138 or so. Let them rest For 10-15 minutes.

It's good, maybe a little warmer than black. I use it a lot in my dry rubs for smoking.
