Made some meat sauce for some pasta last night. Ground beef, bacon, onions, garlic, tomatoes.

 

Dark skies had my head thinking it was fall. Instant-pot stroganoff.

 

What recipe do you use? Been wanting to do some in ours we got not too long ago.

 

Tried this one. First time trying it. It was good! Think it could be better....I wanted more saucy/gravy-ish.

A little garlic, some olive oil, a pile of spinach sautéed and a nice fillet. Tasty meal. Easy to make, too.

Grilled cheese and ‘mater soup for dinner. No pics cause....just cause. But I’m telling y’all, if you haven’t tried mayo to toast up your grilled cheese....you don’t know what your missing!

 

Gonna fry up some oysters & shrimp later on.


Had to make sure I had some proper hot sauce for the undertaking......was skeert when I went to the fridge and only saw a small amount left in a bottle of Ed's Red.....made plans on holding it for my own plate. Was lucky, though, checked the back-up to the pantry....and saw a fresh bottle of both the Original and the XX versions. It's all good in my hood now.



So long as I don't overcook the eats.

Duke's mayo is great on all sorts of stuff.

 

Some folks like heat.....some don't.......here are there options at my table.









Ain't but one option on what I bread my seafood with...since I was riding a bike.













This goodness went into the hush puppies.










I love me some hot sauce or cocktail sauce on shrimp........but got's to have tartar sauce on fried oysters.


















My plate......everyone else wanted salads or tacos. They can have 'em. My eats are straight up.

Wonderful breakfast this morning.....re-heated leftovers....with eggs.

 

It's 5:30pm and I'm sorta content from breakfuss.


I know my tribe won't be, though.



Got 'em coming home at different times.



The early crowd is getting some spinach & artichoke dip.....the later crowd will get some burgers & such.















So......figured I had way more time for dinner..........then son surprised me with a hurry-up call.

Sliced up a potato and gave it an egg wash prior to some House-Autry batter mix.

Fried 'em up and cooked up a batch of Hebrew Nationals.

 

Grilled balsamic chicken and asparagus.

 

Breakfast this morning.....had a couple apples left in the fruit bowl....figured I'd put 'em to use on making a Dutch Baby and some jazzed up oatmeal.








Almost didn't use enough skillet.

 

Dang haven’t had a Dutch baby in a while. That looks GOOD.
