We love lamb. I grew up on a ranch in South Africa. We had about 300 head of sheep, so there was mutton on the table at least 5 times or so a week. Wife and kids also like it, but it is just not really available here where we live (Florida). Mostly imported from New Zeeland. A rack of lamb goes for @12/lb - I like it but not that much! Legs go for about $5 or $6/lb which is what we get most of the time, but not more than once a week.

A couple times a year we have a group of friends get together and do a whole lamb on a spit. That's good eating!

Ya I'm north of you in FL, we are in Citrus County. I wish my wife and daughter liked it as it used to be a staple for me. Every time I've made it or we have had it out though the wife doesn't like it, says it's too strong tasting for her. She also won't eat pork if it's really strong tasting and same goes for beef. Some people :)

A couple months ago we had our annual shrimp boil. Shrimp, sausage, corn, taters, carrots and more. Nothing better than standing around a table eating great food and drinking beer with friends.

Good looks great and the statement is so true. The good people make it even better, the food, the laughs, the reminders of the stupid crap we did when younger. Usually as as the nights go on we break out cards against humanity for some more laughs. :)

Hard to describe. It’s bitter like black coffee. Really good for the human body.

Burning thru the last of the seasons tomatos. (Given to me by coworkers)

I charred everything for a salsa. Added two jalapeños which blew it past my wife’s heat limit.

Bright it to work to eff them up. Haha.

    Next time. Smaller batch.
