I sauted some chopped onions and put them in the eggs prior to putting the mix back in. They added a nice dimension.

Side note: if you don't like deviled eggs you're probably a commie :D

Mayo. I've never had MW. Not a huge fan of mayo but realize it has its place.

I like MW, I guess its because I grew up with it. But it works good with the deviled eggs...instead of mayo.

We cook. Always have for both days. Sometimes we may eat at someone else’s house one of the two days but we bring something with us.

If we had a place around here to get a Peking duck we’d make that a tradition lol. For now we make our own Christmas dinner :)

This year we're staying home both days.

Christmas dinner I will be roasting my first prime rib. I finally found a place to be my personal butcher, so I'm really happy to be able to do a prime rib this year.

Christmas eve is fondue. Grew up with that in the 70's and have carried it forward. Ex never really could cook worth a damn so we ended up doing Christmas dinner at a Chinese restaurant. Started back in Asheville, NC when she ruined yet another meal and that was the only place open Christmas day. She has been gone 10 years now and I cook Christmas dinner for my sons and I. Last few years they haven't done the Chinese thing with her. Glad to see that tradition go away, but it is their business\choice now.

Marinating the prime rib tonight, for tomorrow.
    20181223_205325.jpg
    The star of the show.
    20181223_204919.jpg
The marinade. 1/2 c Worcestershire sauce, 1/4 c Low Sodium Soy, 2 tbsp dijon, 1 tsp granulated garlic, 1 tsp black pepper, 1/2 a small onion diced.

I'll be seasoning the outside, tomorrow, with salt, pepper and rosemary; so I didn't want to add extra salt in the marinade on top of the Worcestershire and soy.
