    My CRAZIEST fried rice ever.
I had Dungeness crab last night. As I was cracking and cleaning - I stared at that Tomalley (crab fat). I’ve seen people eat it and not die. I’ve tasted it. Way rich. Briny.

I mixed it into whipped eggs and made a fried rice. I added dried scallops to really amp up the Ocean’s presence.

my 91 year old neighbor and wife loved it. I nailed the rice toasty ness with the wok.

My wife made us a charcuterie board for New Years. Yes, you may spy the shrimp on the bottom right. Not a typical accompaniment on a board such as this, but a very welcome addition in my book lol.

I'll find out in 20 minutes if the other 2 jars survived :fingerscrossed: If they survived, I can do it the old fashioned way from now on

We were laser engraving some Christmas ornament bulbs for my wife the week before Christmas and all the sudden heard a POP. I was looking around trying to figure out what it was when it hit me that it was the bulb. Realized I forgot to turn down the laser strength on the machine.

Cooked up some burger/sliders tonight and after each side was cooked enough to hold together, I dusted both sides in parmesan cheese and finished cooking them for a pretty fantastic crust

Braising a turkey like they do in El Salvador is a beeitch! My kitchen was a total mess. What I needed was a better pan option.

    delicious tho!

It’s called Pavo Salvadorean. It’s a braised turkey.
