    last night was super simple. still cooler weather, so i can afford to turn on the oven.

    i braised black eye peas + ham hock + kale. served over rice!!

    super clean tasting. earthy goodness.

    Damn, I was there probably 10 years ago now. I was in CA at the Formula SAE competition for school and took a few extra days to visit family. Pinks was one of our stops and I've always been meaning to get back there.
