    Looks awesome!

It does take patience. My one an only attempt last year. Turned out really good, black berry and raspberry.

This is a great technique for normal dough, it doesn’t work if you’re using a fragile dough.

Yeah, I’m a pro at a bacon weave blanket, but the dough was super delicate and I was going for an open-ish design. Didn’t turn out as I pictured but first try wasn’t bad, I was just excited it tasted so good
Yours looks legit AF. Super clean!

I feel the need to give it another shot soon since it’s cooling off a bit and think a hot pie (teehee) would hit the spot

Well, I lost track of this thread....

I'm switching over to winter food to put in the freezer now. Today is Louisiana Gumbo.... I'm not Cajun but I make a mean pot of gumbo. Okra, shrimp, and crawfish ready to go in later. This batch is not for the faint of heart.

Cheese, chicken, rice and jalepeno lime sauce. The sauce totally made it.

Been drooling over several of the recipes/pics posted here...but life threw a curveball. Not sure if There is room at the table for those of us forced to embrace a low carb lifestyle...but thought I’d share a pic of a new low carb dessert recipe. Keto Caramel 1 gram of carb per piece. As a sauce it’s great over carb smart ice cream. Fully cooled and wrapped it makes the perfect chewy treat. Easy to make and tastes just like the real thing.

Secret is in a sugar substitute called Allulose. I get mine on Amazon. Body doesn’t absorb it like sugar so it doesn’t raise my levels.

Add 1/3 cup of butter to frying pan (Smooth bottom)
    Set temp to med high
    As butter melts
    Add 4 tablespoons of Allulose
Stir until fully mixed and starts to brown
When mixture comes to full boil turn heat down to low
    Add 1/3 cup heavy cream
    Let simmer
    Stir occasionally until mixture thickens
If making sauce cook just until it coats the back of a spoon
If making candy cook until mixture thickens up (molasses consistency)
Pull off heat add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
    Whisk until smooth.

as sauce store in mason jar

as candy pour into buttered wax paper and let cool

fold it over on itself until it hardens up

    cut into pieces and wrap

    enjoy

Done and pretty good, note to self never grill again in the rain if possible. It screws up the temps on the grill.
