I'm in but you gotta plunge those eggs in cold ice water when they are done! HAHA keeps that green ring off the yolks. A soft boiled one would be great with those noodles too!

    Disagree.

I can make them in the air fryer a lot faster than an instapot.

I did. however the process is then to peel the eggs and put them in a soy sauce braise. that's when the ring forms.

    my hardboil game is this.

big ass pot of water. in goes the eggs and the pot goes over high heat. get it to a boil, then shut the heat off and set the timer for 20 mins. once the timer beeps, everything gets pulled out and put into a big bowl of ice and water. done.

that green ring forms during the braise. I need to figure it out.

    250 for 18 minutes

I make Ramen Eggs but they are soft boiled for noodle dishes .. the yolks are fantastic when mixed with noodles.

I bring a pot of water to a boil with a splash of vinegar then cover and simmer for 15 minutes then into an ice bath... it stops the cooking and keeps the ring from forming.

However many you can fit. back when I had my first (tiny 2 quart) one it held 6 I think. New one could hold 18 likely but I don't need that many so I have no clue really.

You don't have to eat them.. just cook them and sample one. Then show your wife and she'll be impressed!
