...^^^... This was made by my wife and is some type of Thai soup with salmon.

I call it her ... "spicy swamp soup" ...


Yes ... we do eat a lot of Costco salmon.

Haha just leftover birria meat/sauce over some packaged Ramen noodles.

 

Thats like high society Ramen! Looks good!

 

Baked lumpia (they reheat well in a pan while camping).

On the side? Inside? They're seasoned enough to go without any sauce, but I'll probably have some sort of chili sauce on the side.

I did actually make this batch for camping. Only sampled a few and then divvied it up for the freezer.

Usually I'd just do a ketchup/soy mix because I'm a monster like that, but this is more seasoned and any addition of soy would be overkill. We keep a few bottles of hot sauce and sriracha in our gear. Shocking, right?

Mae Ploy Sweet Chili Sauce

 

Cumin Chipotle Ketchup

1/2 cup Ketchup
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon Chipotle pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon lime juice

Mix well together. Enjoy.

 

I love me some cumin and spicy stuff so I'm absolutely trying that!

Tandoor chicken from Costco. I had it on the smoker for a while low and slow, and then finished up on a hot charcoal grill for the crispy skin.

This afternoon made a simple bagel sandwich .... toasted everything bagel, cream cheese, big beefsteak tomato slice, avocado and pepper.

I am not Jewish ... but I got some good ideas on a Jewish cookbook site ..........

also cruising a "county cooking website" to learn how to make biscuits and gravy.
