Grilled BBQ chicken pizza for dinner tonight.
From scratch dough, homemade Alfredo sauce, onions, grilled chicken slices, balsamic vinegar, peach chutney, lots of cheese. Also played with a cheesy garlic bread roll with some leftover dough.

Shuck Corn and remove all the silk

Wrap with bacon while tucking in Jalapeños in between the bacon and corn. Use toothpicks to secure the ends and season bacon with black pepper.

    Grill until done.. turn frequently.

Wait what happened to the gravy? What did it do or didn't do?

Here is my secret to good sausage gravy.
start with 1/4 + pound Italian Sausage in skillet
Cook until almost done (not quite)
Add a little water to deglaze the pan
Add enough heavy cream to cover the sausage stir to incorporate all the moisture
    Add 1/2 cup sour cream
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Add 1 tbl sugar
Bring to boil in the skillet stirring constantly (won’t take long don’t walk away)then turn down to let simmer
    It will thicken quickly
Thin with cream until right consistency if necessary

I use sour cream as my thickener. Personally I don’t use flour due to carb restriction. I actually like this better. But if you prefer a flour base then substitute the sour cream for 2 tbl flour and a half cube of melted butter. I add both to a coffee cup and micro until butter is melted the stir until smooth and stir into the cream and sausage mix bringing it to a boil. Then down to a simmer.

Don’t give up...these methods are really pretty foolproof.

    Enjoy

So you don't use flour because of carbs but you put sugar in your gravy... Interesting

This is the real thing as far as Thai food ... but I like her other Thai foods better.

She cooks Thai food 99.99% of the time and I like to still have some other types of food too ... and this is pushing me to learn to cook more too.

Hmmm too much milk, not enough flour, didn't cook long enough or some combination, I bet you could have basically reduced it down to the consistency you wanted though as long as you didn't try and go too fast and burn it.

My wife cooks a lot but she’s country- biscuits are 2nd nature for her.
She rolls up some pretty great fresh spring rolls too but that’s about the extent of her Thai cooking lol
