Homemade cream of tomato soup with a Gruyere grilled cheese. Really good!

 

Are those hard boiled eggs?
If so, I’ve never seen that...

 

Yes! Just chuck them into the boiling water too... or gently lower them.. whichever

 

Too darned hot to cook tonight. Cold salad supper.
Tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, green pepper, kalamata olives, feta cheese and the dressing was lemon juice and olive oil.

 

...^^^... Personally ... this is the kind of meal that I could eat every day ... looks fantastic ... looks very Mediterranean ??

I will make this tomorrow ... thanks for the list of ingredients ...

...^^^... Tonight we had a Thai visitor and they cooked a Thai Seafood Dinner with fried Thai bananas.

The lemon grass shoots in the seafood platter we grew in the backyard.

The homemade spicy sauce was the best part to me ... lol

I made lots of toppings so its under there, I did preface with "kinda drunk"

Air fryer NY. There’s a lot of hype, I ain’t sold. Taste was eh. Color was lacking. I’ll stick to my grilled steaks!

FWIW ... An "Air Fryer" in my book is just a "renamed mini-convection oven" (electric cooker with a fan).

 

Some stuff works some not so much.

 

...^^^... Yep ... we use it all the time to save cooking time.

I want to experiment with a Crock Pot to cook some soups and chili this fall and winter.

 

My better half made a quiche this morning

 

You forgot “super efficient and won’t heat your house up but a PITA to clean and very limited on portion size” lol
