...^^^... WOW :hungry: ... that looks fantastic and it's one of my favorites too.

I want to learn how to cook that type of a pot roast ... potatoes don't look soggy ... now I am hungry. Home made bread too ??

The food at the top looks great too ... what is it ?

FWIW ... Meatloaf and pot roast are 2 things that I want to try to make in the near future.

Meatloaf and pot roast are both super easy and very forgiving recipes. Just give them a shot. I'm sure you'll be happily surprised and whatever comes out. Just set a timer and don't burn anything down :notsure:

Top pic was this evenings dinner before it was all cooked up. I browned the beef and onions prior.

Bread was homemade as well. Just a new recipe I looked up and tried this evening https://www.31daily.com/whole-wheat-bread-recipe/

Here's a tip for those that save or screenshot recipes online and use an Android phone..

After you scroll past the 7 pages of "the story" and finally get to the recipe.. click on Print and it'll open another tab with the recipe without all the stupid photos and ads etc. You can then screenshot the recipe and don't forget to drag the screenshot down to capture the while thing if it's a long one. I don't think IPhone will let you drag the screenshot.

...^^^... Thanks ... I do the "trial & error" method. The last 2 times I cooked cod it was good.

I am learning to cook and my salmon and cod are doing OK .. my big challenge is coming and will be "biscuits and sausage gravy" .. :hungry:
