    Oh look, another mod....
Sunday is steak & potato's day!

    1) 16oz ribeye (it was actually bigger than I expected, so I cut off a big piece to eat for left overs tomorrow).
    2) Marinated for 4 hours with cracked salt & pepper in the refrigerator.
    3) Cooked in my jumbo cast iron skillet on high with a little extra virgin olive oil, butter and garlic powder. Cooked med-well.
    4) Baked potato cooked for 30 minutes @ 400 degrees in my air fryer.

The steak came out so perfect that I could cut it (and did) with a butter knife. It was so full of flavor. It was really restaurant quality flavor in my opinion. It was my first time using the cast iron to cook the steak, now...it will be the ONLY way I cook them from now on.

    First world problem:

I bought a bag of cheese and caramel popcorn from Costco yesterday. Just opened it to have some - 98% cheese.

    I got robbed.

Hopefully the bottom half is the opposite.

My wife and I went to a new Thai restaurant today. I got Nam Tok Moo.

It's a bit strong on the mint for me but my wife's Pad Thai was fantastic so well certainly be going back.

    back to bone stock.
I like making refrigerator pickles. they provide a welcomed contrast to hot, rich foods..like bbq ribs. like Korean BBQ ribs, which are what they are naturally for. me? I put them on hotdogs, burgers, and eat them as a side to chicken wings. varieties are endless. from Beets to maybe even hard boiled eggs. these are typical Korean Daikon, Cabbage and Carrots. some jalapeño of that added bite of spice.

I was hungry and didn't want to wait for the smoker so I threw one of the chops in a pan.

Kroger had a sale on Snow Crab Legs: $11.99/lb

It's a garlic sausage with snow crab legs, seasoned with Old Bay (What else?), unsalted butter to dip it in and steamed to perfection. The biscuits are from a Red Lobster pre-made mix. They sell it at Kroger also.

    Uncracked:
