It was delicious AF without but always an option for another time. I've never made fried rice before but it's definitely on the repeat list now

I'm still working my way through making one of everything! HAHA!

 

Ribeye with rosemary garlic butter. Added some roasted sprouts and taters.

 

Just your average Sunday meal (Meat & Potatos).

Pot roast, mashed potato's and biscuits, with gravy.

 

Boneless Beef Ribs made "Mississippi" style, homemade Ranch Mashed Potatoes & Gravy and Lima Beans!

 

Pork chops, green beans, auh rotten cheese potatoes and bourbon spiced apples.

Beef Fried Rice

 

Some kind of chicken stir fry pretty good!

 

Chopped brisket stew because I’m sure it’s cold somewhere

 

It was 36 degrees here this morning…you are all good!!! But you’ll have to share.

 

Got a recipe for that or did you just wing it? Mostly interested in the broth components.

 

That's my kind of plate there.

 

I always wing it, but I also write down everything I do

Oil for sautéing onions and garlic
48 oz beef broth (6 cups)
2 lbs chopped brisket
3 large russet taters cubed
5 whole carrots chopped (you could use a small bag of baby carrots)
5 stalks of celery chopped
1 whole white onion diced
6 cloves garlic minced
6 oz tomato paste
8 oz red wine
2 oz red wine vinegar
1 oz Worcestershire
Herbs to taste
S&P to taste
Cornstarch for thickening

- Soften onion, add garlic to soften (don’t burn/crisp)
- Add tomato paste and stir in
- Add RW vinegar and stir in until incorporated
- Add red wine and cook for 10 minutes
- Add beef broth and bring to a boil
- Add remaining ingredients and simmer with lid on until vegetables are soft, about 20 minutes
- Make a cornstarch slurry with 2 tsp of cornstarch and 2 tsp water - stir into the stew (more if you want it thicker) and cook for a few minutes.

I also added a loaded sachet of fresh herbs from our garden, but you could throw in dried rosemary, thyme, etc.
