Breakfast for supper? Why not! We live in the USA!

 

The only two things my toddler ever wants for supper is either burgers or pancakes.

 

Smart kid!

 

Have you heard of this marvelous place called IHOP? They make breakfast, but they also have a surprisingly extensive lunch and dinner menu as well, and for reasons only known to God himself, when you get a burger it just comes with a side of pancakes.

 

I go to IHOP i want breakfast food. Nothing wrong with ordering burger, but something Ive never done at IHOP. Its like going to Mexican place and ordering chicken strips

 

Yeah, I'm going to take a 3 year old to a restaurant.

I just had to look. Turns out we do actually have those here. Can't say I've ever been to one.

 

You are rare...doesnt stop majority of people who bring their screaming ass kid to restaurant.

 

I only have been after 2AM, and there's one 3 seconds from my house. You aren't missing much. They're on par with applebeens chilis etc. But has a pretty extensive menu.

If anyone has a problem with you bringing a child to an IHOP, they deserve to be upset and have their day ruined. That's like going to Disney and being angry that there are kids.

 

You've never been around my kids...

 

I personally like Waffle House better. Lol

 

Homemade Broccoli cheddar soup and a cold cut sandwich. Really hits the spot

Entertainment is always a plus..

Actually I'm doing the same thing tomorrow, except the sausage will be subbed for thick cut bacon.

Doing BBQ Chicken Nachos tonight.

 

Dinner and a Show.

NEVER actually been in a Waffle House, went to one YEARS ago when my gf at the time and our two friends did a spring break in FL for some beach time. I had been driving all night (after working all day) so while they went in to eat I slept in the car.

 

Every thread eventually devolves into the best fast food/fast casual burger joints. I've yet to see IHOP vs Waffle house.

I went through west virginia around 10PM I think. It was some wind storm shenanigans, power kept glitching here and there. It was entirely mediocre, but was like 5$. So, whatever. Kipped up the next night off some random mountain road in Shenandoah. Great view, but probably one of my riskier road trip overnights

 

there is more Drama at waffle house !!

 

Back in the day, Waffle houses all had juke boxes. But Denny's had cigarette machines. Late night post party dining choice was tough.
