Foodies BS Thread.

Dinner tonight. I marinaded the steak in Worcestershire, soy and lime juice. Onion in same marinade. Then on the pellet grill on low heat to 120, and seared in cast iron skillet in butter with a little garlic, thyme and rosemary.

 

You know what? Making a meatloaf and doing it well is the most american thing next to hot dogs, apple pie and chevrolet and you hit all the bases.

 

Prime Picanha, zucchini, and corn on the cob on the grill.

 

Smoked/grilled New York’s on the Traeger. Served with corn, garlic bread, and baked beans. It was fantastic.

 

Made some steak with sautéed onions and mushrooms… roasted red potatoes, corn and boiled broccoli.. I marinated the steaks in the morning! Came out Nice and soft! Boiled the red potatoes unit fork tender, then put them in a bowl, thru some cayenne pepper, black pepper, thyme,rosemary, garlic, and yes cumin @Fargo Taco and stirred it all in. Threw them on a cookie sheet and into the oven they went for 30 minutes!… no left overs! Just the way I like to cook lol, keeps the fridge nice and organized…

I've eaten at numerous other Indian restaurants but not that one.

Gotta ask - are you coming to Fargo? And if so, why?!?

 

Pad Thai with key West shrimp and ghost pepper. Yeah, I ate it right out of the skillet. Spicy!

Pounds (a burger joint) was on an episode, too. I worked with the dad of one of the owners. Never been there, either.
