Yes you can. Traction bars. Or don't accelerate over uneven terrain, which upsets the rear suspension. @ryanjboutin said it best.

Get the Defined Engineering or XR brace, learn more about the components at play here, install, then report back. You've been given all you need.

Since you obviously don't want to listen to reason and all you want to do is weld some scrap metal to your truck that will magically fit perfectly....go do it and tell us how it worked.

I don't know what else you want to hear from this thread.

@tgear.shead , listen to what these folks are telling you. They're 100% correct. The solution to your axle hop issue is a torque arm to eliminate axle wrap.

    Also, switch to decaf.

Adding 200 pounds of crazy hack isn't a solution.
And its funny that OTHER trucks don't have this problem, despite not having any "torque arm" installed.

Other trucks do have this problem, which is why there are torque arms and anti-wrap bars available on the market.

Your mind is clearly made up and you're actively dismissing all information that counters your viewpoint. At this point any further discussion is useless. Go do what you think will work, report back with your finding, and stop wasting everyone's time.

Other trucks do have this problem. Go rent a hemi ram, turn off traction control and mash the gas. It'll have axle hop too...

I'm actively dismissing everything that is OFF TOPIC. The question I posed is VERY SPECIFIC. It has NOTHING to do with "torque arms" or "anti-wrap bars".

And no, other trucks DO NOT have this problem. This is my third pickup, and it is the ONLY one that will jump around like that when slipping.

If you created the thread to fix the axle hop issue, the recommendations are on topic.

If you created it only to have your current beliefs reinforced, then everything will be off topic because nobody is going to agree with your incorrect assumptions.

    No.
I created a thread to discuss a SPECIFIC APPROACH to addressing hop.
