Don't pander to his delusions. It won't help for fuck all. As stated, it would actually make it worse due to isolating the source of the problem instead of the frame absorbing any of the vibration/hop feeling.

If it is not about racing or just going fast use less skinny pedal and you would have any hop at all. Just drive like a normal person on the street.

Street? Once again, somebody who misses the point.

Let me make this very clear; you've got 2 feet worth of semi-packed snow trying to make you stuck. You try driving through it, but it starts stupid-hopping instead of digging forward. Letting off the throttle isn't an option because then you're stuck.

I have had S10, F150, and Tacoma. All have had wheel hop.

axle wrap. install traction bars to resist axle twisting forward and aft. end of story.

I am laughing my balls off on this whole thread.

    My 2013 hopped

and it needed the vibration TSB

which was all new leafs with the correct SHIM which adjusts the fore aft tilt of the axle. after the fore/aft tilt of the axle was settled into correct position application of full throttle is smooth as butter. A traction bar prevents any twisting of the axle which is essentially the same as an 'ideal leaf and ideal shim' but removes
    any guesswork and calculations.

    What I've learned today:

Wheel hop was invented in 1995 when the first Tacoma was built.

I would suggest buying another and selling the taco then if it isn't up to your standards.
