I always wanted a set of those wheels. Guess I'm gonna be sticking to rattle canned stock wheels until I can save up. Add me to the jelly list.

UPS only delivered two today and I panicked when I got back to my office and saw only two boxes.

Called the dealer to ask what was going on. Evidently the other two are a day behind. Good ol' UPS.

    Oh . . . and TT's - they're super awesome in person! Pure sex. ;)

Yea, yea rub it in. Too late for me though.

I just bought a used set of silver fj trd wheels w/ BF AT KO's and plan on powdercoating them black when I need to replace the tires

Rotating mass has a rule of thumb to be a roughly 4 to 1 ratio vs static weight in a vehicle. With larger tires it also multiplies the weight since the diameter is increased and the weight of the tire is mainly in the tread which is farther from the axis.

The down side of a heavy tire is slower acceleration, poor gas mileage, and stiff ride.

If your are bored this explains it all but is a bit boring.
    http://www.w8ji.com/rotating_mass_acceleration.htm

E rating is for vehicles that need a rugged tire due to carrying a heavy load, 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. Our tacoma does not really apply in this case.

Just giving you the info so you can decide for yourself.

I have the hankooks myself but only went with P load rating since I wanted to keep my mpg same as stock. Good tires.

And I'm pretty sure most if not all the trucks (farmers and ranchers) are not V6 import trucks with a max. towing capacity of 6,500 lbs. Those farmers and ranchers are in 1/2 ton Dodge dually quad cab pickups and F250, F350s. They haul and tow more than our little trucks could ever dream of.

Who cares what you paid. If your happy and love them , then thats all that matter. I think its a fair price since its pretty much imposible to get these wheels. :)
