Hey guys, so from doing my bed light mod i have an extra light sitting around, and i am thinking that it would be nice to mount this under the frame somewhere, (hopefully i wont come down on it when i'm wheeling, but i mostly do desert stuff, so that shouldn't matter) and wire it in to the fuse that controlls the dome lights in the cab, so that when i unlock the car it would light up the area by the drives door.. so I can see rocks and stuff, or if something falls out when i get out of the car.

Just thinking of doing this as a fun project ( I don't have to much money to spend on the truck, but i love working on it, so I like to do a lot of cheap little modds.. )

    What do you guys think?

that's actually a pretty sweet idea, esp if you could get it up level with the frame so it's protected. parking and stepping out into a huge puddle is the worst. do an easy to follow, step by step build thread if you do it, cuz i suck at electrical
